NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Mrs. Sam Greenbaum and 2 children. Based on information in his obituary, published in the Davenport Democrat on 14 April 1922, Samuel A. Greenebaum was born in Illinois on September 19, 1883, the son of Mr. And Mrs. Emanuel Greenebaum of Chicago. He married Helen Blank of Des Moines in 1911. They moved to Davenport in 1915. He had 2 sons, Jerome and Samuel, Jr. Based on information in the 1900 census, Helen was the daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Blank of Romania. Based on information in the 1930 Census, Helen Blank Greenebaum was married to Lou Cramer and loved in Los Angeles, California with her sons, Jerry and Sam Greenebaum. Based on information in the Iowa Births and Christenings Index, Sam was born April 20, 1916 in Davenport. Based on information in the U. S. Veterans Gravesites, Sam Greenebaum died June 29, 1999 and is buried at Riverside National Cemetery in California. Based on information in the California Death Index, Jerome B. Greenebaum died on August 16, 1996 in Los Angeles, CA.
