| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Mr. Arthur Montz. Based on information in the 1920 Census, Arthur O. Montz was born ca. 1894 in Indiana. He lived in Rock island, Illinois with his mother, Hester, and his step-father, Charles C. Low. He worked as a sheet metal worker at a stove company. Based on information in the World War I draft registration cards, Arthur O. Montz was born June 26, 1893 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He worked at the Smith System Heating Co. in Rock Island. He is described as being short and slender build, and having blue eyes and black hair. Based on information in the Social Security Death Index, Arthur Montz died in March 1967 in Des Moines, Iowa. |
