DescriptionPhotograph of St. Anthony's Catholic Church located at 417 Main Street in Davenport, Iowa. A note on the back of the photograph says "St. Anthony's oldest church and parish in Davenport diocese was built in 1853 on the familiar corner of Fourth and Main. The little brick structure erected in 1838 in now part of parish school and adjoins the historic church."

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the input level of the shadows from 0 to 26 and the highlights from 255 to 247 using Adobe PhotoShop Elements 2.0.
