| Notes | The original negative envelope is labelled "Chas. Pierce (boys)". The 1900 Davenport City Directory lists a Charles W Pierce living in Davenport with his wife Mary. He does not appear in the 1900 Census, but in the 1910 Census he is listed with his wife Mary and a son, Frankline, age 13. It is possible that this is a portrait of Franklin who would have been about age five or six when this image was taken. |
