| Notes | The original negative envelope is labelled "Mr. Reading" A search of the 1906-7 Davenport City Directory and also the 1900 and 1910 Censuses indicates that this image is most likely of either Emery M. and Elsie Reading or John A. and Mary Reading. Their parents, Augustus and Alverda Reading were age 56 and 51 respectively in the 1900 Census are likely too old to be the couple pictured. Emery Reading was age 38 in the 1910 Census. |
