NotesThe 1910 Davenport City Directory lists Louis P. Best with wife Clara residing at 623 Ripley. Mr. Best is the President of the Woodruff-Kroy Co. and Vice-President of the Robert Krause Co. The 1910 Census shows the Best family living in Davenport with Louis P. age 62, wife Clara age 46, son Louis age 4, and daughter Gretchen age 5 with several nephews and nieces with the Karlowa surname.
