NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Mrs. Max Koehler. Based on the 1910 census, this image may be Cornelia Clopton Smith Koehler, born about 1877, making her about 30 in this picture. Max and Cornelia were married around 1898 and had two children, Virginia and Max.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 74 and contrast to 50 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
