NotesThe original negative envelope was difficult to read and said either "A. L. Reubson" or "Reubsen". Based on information from the Davenport city directories and census information from 1900 and 1910 it is likely this man is either Ambrose F. Ruebsam, age 38 in 1910 or Alois H. Ruebsam, age 46 in 1910. Both men were restaurant owners and operators in Davenport during the early 1900's.
