NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled "Mrs. Carl Richter". Based on information in the Davenport city directories and census listings it is probable the adult woman is Jennie (Kuhr) Richter with her son, Carl born ca. 1899 and daughter Catherine born ca. 1905. Jennie married Carl Richter 14Oct1897 in Scott County, Iowa. In the 1908 Davenport city directory Carl is listed as president of T. Richter & Sons Incorporated and the family resided at 1020 Perry Street.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 75 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
