| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled "Hartz, Theo." Based on information in Davenport city directories and the 1900 and 1910 census, Theodore Hartz was married to Emma A. Hartz. By 1910 they had 11 children, 10 of whom were living. This image could be one of their older daughters, however no definitive identification can be made. |

TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 75 and contrast to 60 in Microsoft PhotoEditor. |
