Based on the Davenport city directories, 1900 and 1910 census and Scott County Marriage Certificate Index, this image is most likely Stella Gray, daughter of John J. and Theresa Gray. Stella was born about 1887, making her about 18 in this picture. Stella married Henry Hansen in February 1910 in Scott County, Iowa.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan remains untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 80 and contrast to 52 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
