| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled D. S. Ralston. Based on information in the 1900 and 1910 Federal census, Scott County marriage records, and city directories it is believed this is the family of David Shannon Ralston. The baby is either son Russell (born 1907) or Walter (born 1909). The woman with the white blouse is believed to be Bessie Mabel Kerr Ralston, David's wife and mother of the baby. The woman in the dark dress and white collar is likely Fannie Kerr, mother of Bessie. The eldest woman is believed to be Fannie Kerr's mother, grandmother of Bessie Kerr Ralston, and great grandmother of the baby. |
